Bio

I have been working on my family history since the early 1990s, with both of my grandmothers being earlier inspirations to do the research. I was born in Ritzville, Washington in 1952 to Jim and Marilyn (Edwards) Schoesler, the eldest of their 4 sons and 2 daughters, and a fifth generation Ritzvillite on both sides of the family. I graduated from Ritzville High School in 1970, Washington State University in 1974, served in the Air Force from 1974-1981, and went back to school on GI Bill, this time at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL, graduating in 1988. I went back to school again in 2005 to become a sign language interpreter. I have lived in six states (WA, CA, MT, WI, TX and FL), two foreign countries (South Korea and Greece), and speak English, ASL and German.
