Back in 1988 we went to visit my great aunt and she dug out a scrapbook that she had been adding to over the years. Inside was a few pictures but mostly it was filled with obits. At the time I thought that my aunt had a very strange hobby. But we got to looking through it and realized all of the information that she had on her family. That sparked the genealogy bug for me and my mother and I started researching her line while my daddy started on his. Soon after I joined the local historical & genealogical society and I've been shall we say "obsessed" ever since. Preserving the past is very important to me and this site is amazing. I hope that I can contribute as much as I have received lately. God Bless!
