I started "walking" cemeteries as a child with my maternal Grandmother. It was a weekly routine after church or when a relative was in town to visit the cemetery. My Grandmother would explain how each person was related and relate stories about each person. My Grandmother was a member of the DAR and interested in genealogy before computors were invented. She kept great records and passed them down. Grandma has been gone many years but she passed on to me the genealogy and cemetery interest. I hope I can h elp others discover their history.
