Bio

I have been a musician my entire life. My mom said that I could sing before I could speak. I started piano at age five. By age 11 I was playing piano for our evening church services in McCook. When I was 12 I was offered a small Contract with Warner Brothers Music since I played piano, singing at the same time, and writing my own songs that I sang for others. The rest of my life I spent most of my spare time performing. 20 years professionally, 30 years part time, and until I had a stroke in 2009 finding joy in every way possible with my music. My stroke came a couple of years after I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Because of my neurological problems I have mostly been unable to play & sing. My right hand and side no longer work right. I still sing some but my vocal quality isn't nearly as good. I just had a pseudo stroke last month and my occupational therapist has encouraged me to continue trying to play keyboard. It should improve my mental abilities and my basic mental health.
