Was a charter member (and still active) with our Jackson County Historical Society, which recently added "and Genealogical" to its name.

I like to get the information out there so that future searchers can find what they are looking for. Since I've gone from writing letters to libraries (and visiting those libraries) to this wonderful thing called "the Internet", I wonder what the future will bring in the information world.

I will gladly transfer memorials to family descendants since hundreds of these memorials I maintain are not my family. I adopted several of these over the years.
