Bio

I started genealogical research with my mother in the 1970's when we had to travel to local court houses to gather marriage, tax, and land records, plus probate records where they existed. About 3 years ago my son talked me into joining him on ancestry.com so I could enter all the information I have in about 20 notebooks. I got HOOKED again! Now I am focused on all my mother's lines who lived in Garrard and Madison Counties, KY before migrating to MO in the early 1800's. Recently, I've been sharing information and ideas with a woman whose DNA revealed that she is a 6th cousin of my son. We are serious genealogy junkies!
