Bio

I have been doing genealogy for about 30 years. My primary focus is Meigs County Ohio, even though I no longer reside there, as this is where my families lived for almost 175 years. I own and operate "Respectful Interment Preservations", a cemetery and monument preservation business, in Medina County Ohio.

I have just completed a preservation project on the "Pioneer Baptist Cemetery" in Richland County, Ohio working with Mark Morton of "Gravestone Guardians of Ohio" who was the head of the project. There were 17 known burials when Mark started clearing the brush from the cemetery in April 2012. During that process he located another headstone that was not recorded for the cemetery. I joined him in June 2012 and we started the preservation of the monuments. Only two stones were standing in the beginning, now all have been repaired, reset, (and the ones needing it) cleaned. Please visit our business facebook pages to see pictures or visit Mark's website at GravestoneGuardians.com.

I am also starting to do some work in the Poe Cemetery in Medina County Ohio. The township trustees have approved work on several stones needing cleaning and repair. When completed I hope to do some more work for the trustees in other cemeteries that they are ressponsible for.
