Bio

I began entering our family information into a computer family tree program (PAF) in 1992, using all of the scraps of information my father had left. In 2002 my husband, Manfred Deutsch, and I joined a Pommern Genealogy group. He was born in Pommern, Germany in 1936. In 2007 I began volunteering in the Minnesota Genealogy Society Library one to two days a week. In this work, Find A Grave is an important resource. Now I am the current president of the Pommern Research Group. My ancestors are from Norway and Germany. I speak conversational German (I have been to Germany 14 times) but I am a poor writer in German.
