I describe myself as a grave restorationist and preservationist in this field.

I have always had a deep passion for keeping historical cemeteries in tact and maintained.
At as early as age 9, I was already compulsively cleaning up all of the garbage I saw at the cemetery I grew up near.
I still do that at every one that I visit. ;)

I have also been working as a volunteer caretaker at Old Holy Cross Cemetery in Santa Cruz since late 2010, where I have been working on restoration projects as well as the overall preservation and cleaning of markers and monuments, as well as floral upkeep.

At one point, I even had the privilege of 'unearthing' and restoring a nearly lost, very large and prominent limestone plot that belongs to my first entry on here~Miss Kate Handley.


I am more than happy to answer any questions anyone on here may have about Old Holy Cross, what I do, or myself.
