I became interested in family history when I had my first baby, Sarah Coreen (Brown) Posz in 1978. It was much more difficult then, without the Internet and much more expensive. I wrote everything down on paper, used my SR camera to take photos of old family pictures, and taped some photos in a genealogy book.

I purchased a digital camera and have continued to take photos of family pictures and scan in old photos as I find them. I like that I am able to email the digital copies to my family so they will not be lost over time.

At the moment, I live in Germany and work for the Army (as a civilian). I own a home in North Dakota and have lived in Iowa, New Jersey, West Virginia, California, Alaska, Tennessee, Michigan, Colorado, Arizona, Maryland, and in the country of Iceland. I have family in California, Utah, Colorado, Texas, Maryland, and Massachusetts. I am anxious to get back to the States and be able to take on a larger role, photographing gravesites where ever we end up living, vacationing, or while visiting family.

I am a direct descendent of the surnames Martin, Gerard, Fuller, Taylor, Wagner, Eddy, Wyatt, Baker, Arter/Arthur, Dill/Dillin/Die, Salver/Saylor. Other cousins (and dear to my heart) include Axmear, Montross, Bockes, and Reinier. My step-dad was a Brushe.
