My name is John R McGarry, Jr, and I like to research mine and my wife's ancestors as well as the ancestors for anyone that I can help. I live in Jefferson County, Kentucky. Some of the names I research in my family is McGarry, Fortwengler, Shipp, Brown, Bencken, Wright, and many others. My wife's family researh begins with Stowers, Harlow, Sanders, and Wiser just to name a few. I go on average to 4-5 cemeteries a week (with the help of my 11 year old daughter...lol). Doing that along with doing research on my family is a hobby that I enjoy. My family research has been handed down down to me (after 35+ years of pictures, stories and other information) and I have been doing it for over 15 years. I have recently began doing my wife's side of the family.
