I consent to the use of my marker photographs for genealogical research provided they are for personal and not commercial use. Please cite Find A Grave as your source.

I am recently retired and have had some opportunity to locate and photograph family resting places. I am descended from original New England Planters ( Puritans ) that settled on lands in Maugerville New Brunswick and then moved to the Nashwaak Village area. In addition, other family branches include a Capt from the disbanded New York Volunteers and United Empire Loyalists ( a fancy way of describing refugees kicked out of New York and other locations at the end of the American Revolution ). They were joined by Welsh immigrants from Cardigan Wales in 1818 on the Welsh ship the Albion. The tale of their crossing the Atlantic can be found in the book " Strangers from a Secret Land". I am also indebted to the fine work of Lou and Wood Smith in their book " A Lust for Wandering" tracing our Smith family from England to New England to New Brunswick. Another fine work of family history has been written by Judson Corey. The book " Knowlsville" traces the Corey family from their Rhode Island beginning to their UEL move to New Brunswick. It has been an interesting past few years reading these works and other historical accounts of the times of these hardy people.
