My Ancestors came to the Neudorf area of Saskatchewan in the late 1800's and early 1900's. They settled northwest of Neudorf in the Pheasant Forks area. Many of them were members of the rural Redeemer (Erloser) Lutheran Church and some of them are buried in the Redeemer Lutheran Cemetery.
Many of them came from from the Austrian areas of Galicia and Bukovina. Some of them had moved on to Bessarabia in Russia before they emmigrated to Canada. Tracing back to the late 1600's they came from the Pfalz and Bayern regions of Germany.
