Genealogy has long been a hobby, even a passion, of mine for many years. This work is an off-shoot of that.

Most of my postings here will probably be relatives of mine, but I will also be posting "random" items from Monroe County, IL and surrounding areas. I have been researching that county's history for a few years; my wife hails from there and is either related to or knows almost everyone there.

I will honor most transfer requests if you are related to the individual, according to Find-A-Grave guidelines (direct line, 4 generations). In the case of my family members, I will only consider transfering them if you are more closely related to them than I.
