My name is Richard S Meyers. I was born in Syracuse, NY and grew up in the cozy little community of South Onondaga, NY.

My brother actually started researching our ancestry over the last decade and because I have more time on my hands than he does, I started adding to his research over this last year.

My paternal family, the Meyers (originally w/o the 's') came from Unterbreizbach, Germany. My maternal family, Schultz from Suserz, Poland (Prussia).

The rest of my paternal roots are mainly from the United States, while my maternal roots span from Ireland, to Lithuania, to Quebec, Canada and the New England States.

Some of the surnames in my line, besides Meyers (Germany/Syracuse, NY) and Schultz (Prussia/Syracuse, NY) are Davis (Newburgh, NY), Merritt (Governeur, NY), Mandell (Lithuania/Schenectady, NY) Roberts(Ireland/Newark Valley, NY), Kemp (England/Quebec/Newark Valley, NY) and Camber (Vermont/Quebec/Nulhegan Abenaki).

Will be going through local cemeteries and taking pics as weather changes in Spring. Hopefully I can contribute to some of your ancestry searches.
