I am a 9th generation in St. Charles County, Missouri through my dad's mother and a 4th generation through my dad's dad and my mother's dad and my mother's mother. I have great, great, great grandparents that settled in Lincoln County, Missouri. I am related to many old families in St. Charles County, Missouri and Lincoln County, Missouri. Except for college and the army, I have lived in St. Charles County, Missouri all my life. I am a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and the General Society of the War of 1812 and their respective Missouri societies. I served (2017-2018) as the President of the Missouri Society of the Sons of the American Revolution and as a Board Member for life. I am a member of the Missouri Baptist Historical Commission, and currently serve as Chairman. I have served on the Board of Directors of the Saint Charles County Historical Society for over 21 years, and served two years as President. After completing my first college degree, I served in the U.S. Army as an Armor Officer for 3 years. After serving in the Army, I worked as a Contract Administrator for McDonnell Douglas Electronics Company for 7 years and as the Director of Contract Administration & Legal for Alvey Inc. and Intelligrated Inc. for 35 years. I retired in 2010.
