My ancestors came to America from Germany (early 1700), and Norway (late 1800's). Those connections I have been able to document, but it appears some may have come from Scotland, and some from England aboard the Mayflower! At a reunion a family member presented proof of this, but I don't have that persons contact info (a dumb mistake...)to get a copy for myself, so I cannot prove this. Family stories say my great-grandmother was Chiricahua, but when I asked my grandmother about this one day before she passed away, I about got strangled! I had not been told that this was a taboo subject for my grandparents, but their reaction told me all I needed to know. However, I have not been able to find documentation to prove this...YET! I have so enjoyed this website, and getting to find ancestor information that I did not have, or add to what is there already. Mom did a ton of genealogy when I was a kid, and I have been slowly adding to it now that the internet has so much information to offer.
