I was born June 27, 1939 in Ringgold, GA to Gordon Lee and Ruby (Dickson) Dedmon. I am the oldest of five children (Carolyn, Ruth, Tom and Bill). I attended grade school at Graysville, GA and Osburn Elementary (near Chickamauga, GA) and graduated from Rossville High School in Rossville, GA in 1957. I received a MA degree in counseling. (formerly Alabama Christian School of Religion and now is Amridge University) in Montgomery, AL. On April 5, 1959, I married Jane Glasscock, my High School sweetheart. She was born at Chickamauga, GA, the oldest of 3 children (Ruth and Ed) to Berlin and Cynthia Shirley Glasscock. We have two children, Gary and Gwen. Gary married Diane Toothman, they have two boys, Greg and Jonathan. Jonathan is married to Michelle Grogan and they have two sons, Brady and Carson. Gwen lives in Buchanan, GA. and is married to George Kiley. She has one daughter, Carrie Jane, who is married to Mark Webb. They have four children, Cassidy, Masie, Curt, Makayla Webb.
