My interest in genealogy began about 1980, when I began researching my own ancestors, who were from Michigan, Quebec, France, Tennessee, the Carolinas, Scotland, England, Germany. My research has expanded into my wife's ancestors, who were from England, Denmark, Germany, Rhode Island, and New York, with a more recent focus on Greenes, Hopkins, and other related families in Otsego County, New York. I also occasionally help friends with their own ancestry. I find it amazing where the research takes one, and what one finds.
