Bio

I have been researching, on and off, since 1974. I have 4 children and many nieces and nephews with whom I share genealogy information. Knowing our roots helps us all to understand ourselves better. It also helps with a sense of belonging and purpose.

I have lived in Ohio, Massachusetts, and Texas. My family roots follow the typical pattern of American immigration and westward mobility from England, Ireland, Wales and German; then to Philadelphia; next to Ohio; and in recent generations scattering over the country.

Some of the family lines I track are: Carey, Griffith, Wilson, Earhardt. On ex-spouse's side, I track for my children these lines: Williams, Mahan, Stewart and Horn. My children could belong to the DAR, SAR, and possibly Mayflower Society, but we haven't joined any of them -- as yet!

Happy hunting!
