Currently I live in coastal Wilmington, North Carilina. I was raised most of my life in Northeast Ohio and moved here to Wilmington in 2009 with my husband, who happens to be my high school sweet heart! I am connected to Docks Creek through my half sister Amoorena Gregory, also known as Amy, who is buried here. I unfortunately was never able to meet Amy but upon searching for her, and found she had passed came across her burial sight here at Docks Creek. Thanks to a volunteer of the cemetery my family was also able to see a picture of Amy's head stone which was a true blessing! I plan to visit Amy when my family comes up north again for a trip this summer. It will be bitter sweet but will also bring me some much needed closure to this part of my life.
