Bio

I've been researching my family since 1998, mainly ancestors of paternal grandfather: (Denis Duquay) Duquette, Lavoie, Forgit, & Monet(te). Paternal grandmother: Tower, Lyon and Lamb (mainly in the towns of Leicester, Spencer, Charlton, & Oxford, MA); I am a double descendant of the passengers of the Mayflower: Howland/Tilley, and White families (11-13th great grandparents). All from my father's Canadian and English roots.

My mother's side consists of Italian heritage with the last names of Solitro, Santoro, Papagni, Tantimonaco, and Piracci. All mainly born in Italy and emigrated to the US, Canada, and Australia.

If I submit an edit to you, it is because I am related to that person or it is an edit for their spouse or in-law that I have found supporting evidence to the requested change. Other than that, I rarely suggest edits for non-family members. I will follow F.A.G. rules and transfer memorials to family members, unless they are my relatives.

I believe in researching and adding the most factual information to every memorial I have added to F.A.G. and attaching family members if possible. This is why I don't have many memorials. I'm not here to "rack" up numbers of graves. I'm dishearten by those that hold memorials of generations of my ancestors, but don't do the work and call themselves genealogists. If you call yourself a genealogist please do the research, if not then call yourself a volunteer and accept submissions.

I enjoy photographing graves and walking cemeteries. I believe each grave should be dignified, but understand public/municipality owned cemeteries are under budget constraints. Taking a pair of shears and a whisk broom is not a problem, although I won't use chemicals as not to damage a stone.
