Originally born in Orangeburg, and have lived every day of my life in SC. Most of my SC ancestors are from the Mayesville/Sumter area (some migrated there from around Sanford, NC). Surnames include Cooper, Womble, Brearley, English. This is my maternal grandmother's family.

My paternal grandfather's family was mainly from Alabama, in the Elmore/Coosa County area. Common surnames Griffith, Morris, Patterson, Hall, Castleberry.

Both sides of my mother's family are originally from the Milwaukee area, more specifically Saukville. Some surnames include Horn, Grass, Meng.
