This work is dedicated to my sister, Barbara A. Smith, who passed from this life on June 21, 2016. She has worked many years on developing our family history. She created and maintained this account. I am now taking care of it and continuing to maintain and add to it. Our ancestors are the Donovans from Brookline and Boston, earlier from County Cork, Ireland and the Kellys and Keefes from Brighton and Lynn, earlier from Ferryland district, Newfoundland.
