Bio

Manuchar Pirveli is a founder and publisher of the only Georgian Magazine, “MAMULI”, published in the USA.  MAMULI has been in publication since its founding in 2003.

In 2015, Mr. Pirveli founded Blacktie Group Co. offering a wide variety of business services to the Georgian community in the USA, including such services associated with brand identity, strategic planning, digital marketing, media buying, social platform ads and others.

In 2016, Mr. Pirveli  became owner of one of the oldest restaurants specializing in authentic Georgian cuisine on the East Coast.  The restaurant, “PIROSMANI”, was recently favorably reviewed by the New York Times in its Food Section.


Mr. Pirveli also is the author of several books, publication letters, essays and historic novels, many published in both Georgia and the USA.

For the past 20 years Mr. Pirveli has been actively searching the history of Georgians in the USA and has found more than 300 graves of Georgians who emigrated to the USA.

Mr. Pirveli currently has his own 30 minute segment named “American Thursdays” on Georgian national broadcast television in which he shares for the Georgian television audience his thoughts on American culture and history.

Mr. Pirveli is a proud recipient of Georgia’s Medal of Honour.
