Aloha, I'm Yonsei, a 4th generation Japanese, that has deep family roots in Japan, Hawaii,Germany and Berks County, PA ., that has a passion for genealogy and locating ancestors and their descendants , good, bad or indifferent, which includes DIRECT and INDIRECTLY. I am very passionate in my quest to connect first generation Japanese immigrants, that lived, and worked on the plantations, and or were known to have been incarcerated during WWll, and will add to their memorial if I locate the name in the Book of IREICHO- to their family units, where profiles are scattered and family units are not connected, My background is very diverse, and I have many years in my background with genealogy research, I have extensive knowledge in 3 categories: Japanese, Hawaiian and Pennsylvania German Dutch genealogy research . My issei great grandparents migrated from Fukuoka, Hiroshima and Kumamoto, to Oahu, Hawaii paving the way with the many hardships they endured in the plantation life to being incarcerated during WWll and being sent to Jerome and Heart Mountain Japanese Relocation camps. I also have an extensive background on my great grandparents ancestors -25 generations -whom came from Baden, Germany to escape religious persecution, and sailed by ship as Palentines, that sailed through the Hudson River and stayed in New York as indentured servants, before emigrating to the Port of Philadelphia and on to the colonies in Berks County, Pennsylvania that lived and died, and were in the American Revolutionary War. I am a descendant of the Sons and Daughters of the American Revolutionary War. My goal is to connect the lost, as each has a story to tell, sometimes, all I have in an obituary, other times there is information that can be located in genealogy sites. Sometimes it's a puzzle, but that does not mean they should be ignored, for they have a story . "Ohana means family, and family means nobody is left behind or forgotten." - Thank you for visiting.-
