Some people do not like for you to add death certificates to memorials. I do not agree. Some dc's contain inaccurate information; as do many documents and headstones for that matter. However, I feel the best way to honor and remember those, whom have passed, is to provide as much information as possible to anyone looking for their family or friends. If there is something distasteful on a document, it may not be the best place to share it, but please feel free to add any information you like to any memorials I manage.
