I was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1958 and have traveled to and lived many places including Frankfort, Germany but the place I consider "home" is Killen, AL. My mother's family was from there and I spent many of the summers of my youth there. I attended UNA, was married there (the first time) and get back as often as humanly possible. I currently live in Crystal Lake, IL. It hurts me that I can't put flowers on my mother's, grandmother's, etc's. graves every birthday, Mother's Day, Christmas and I guess I feel that finding out about and publishing as much about their lives as possible is the next best thing. My main focus is the Peck Cemetery in Killen, AL. but would be happy to try to help anyone with any information I can.
