I am a native California Central Valley "girl" who has lived in Bakersfield, California, for 45 years. In 2013 I retired from teaching primary grades, which I miss, but now I have more time to devote to my family and hobbies, including genealogy, which I began in 2008.
My ancestors/interests include Fordyce, Bradley, Newby, and other related families in Ventura, CA, Ohio and Iowa; Battles and Croninger families in Oregon and Ohio; all their ancestors and some influential friends.
