Presently researching connection of Heitson/Hitson/Hinson Brown of AL & later TX to my Browns of Polk County, Florida. Searching for graves of 2 of his sons. 1) Berry G. Brown, record of KIA in Civil War but burial? and 2) Doctor Hankins Brown b. 1840 AL and reported to have died at age 16, 1860 in TX. No records found substantiating how, when and where. My GGF, b. 1860 in FL was given the same name and I doubt this is purely coincidental. Any help would be appreciated.

I enjoy helping people discover more about their families and finding connections and willing to help other Find a Grave members and believe in sharing historical records.
One of my favorite words ever written about ancestry are by Linda Hogan, a Native American writer:
"Walking, I Am Listening To A Deeper Way. Suddenly, All My Ancestors Are Behind Me. Be Still, They Say. Watch And Listen. You Are The Result Of The Love Of Thousands."
