I have been compiling family history on my family for over 30 years and this site is a wonderful resource regardless if you are just beginning your research or are buried in the history.

With the recent loss of my father I am left with a question that some of you contributors can perhaps answer. Why in the world would you post a memorial for someone that hasn't even been buried? And then to link my mother's memorial where I am the manager, and my grandparents as manager, wouldn't you have enough respect to send a message and ask if I planned to originate a memorial for Dad? Well I guess I can answer it myself, if you are into compiling a lot of memorials, you know, get your numbers up, you really don't care about the person you are posting about or the family of that person. You simply camp out on funeral home sites and bang out a memorial so you win the prize! Oh, that's right, there is no prize, just a little empire you build with a high number of memorials.
