Bio

I am Jerri Louise Couch, my father was Ova Couch, s/o Goble and Mahala (Milam) Couch. My mother was Minnie Louise (Sizemore) Couch, d/o Samuel and Margaret (Caudill) Sizemore.

Surnames in my tree include Couch, Sizemore, Milem, Asher, Mann, Standafer, Caudill, Hall, Oliver, Cornett, Napier, Combs, Campbell, Young, Morris, Turner, Howard, Collins, Noble, Blevins, and the list goes on!

While my parents and grandparents were all born and raised in South-Eastern Kentucky, I was born and raised in Illinois. Discovering more about my ancestors is very important to me, especially now that both of my parents are gone. Not being familiar with the twists and turns of those KY mountains and the families, I am at a disadvantage.

I made a 3-week trip to Perry Co., Leslie Co., Clay Co., and Breathitt Co., to visit libraries, courthouse's, and Cemeteries. I quickly found out that 3-weeks is nowhere near enough time. I appreciate any help from researchers in the area who are, in the know! Please and Thank You!

I'm grateful for all the FaG contributors. I'm happy to contribute in any way I am able. Linking my family members together on FaG has been challenging but I continue to try. You can expect courteous behavior from me, always!

Happy hunting!
