Worked for years in Skagway as a historian and created an extensive database which I donated to the Park Service. (The park has posted some of my database online which is not complete, but hopefully helps researchers.)
From this database I am able to make connections between family members and descendants of the gold-rushers that came to Alaska and the Klondike in 1898. I have posted individual stories at my SkagwayStories.org site to clarify some stories. Always happy to help genealogists and historians with information.
