Bio
I am Christopher Ryan. I chose my name at age 25 and had it legally changed. I was born as John Barry Duda in Mobile, Alabama in 1968.
I started working on genealogy in November of 2014 shortly after losing my job (much more free time now). I am very interested in talking to any living descendants of my ancestors. In June I will be embarking on an Amtrak train trip for my event "Red Carpet Portraits." The idea is for me to make family portraits of distant relatives that I have met through my research.
This is part of a bigger project of mine where I will be traveling the world for nearly two years non-stop. There is information here: http://www.christopherryan.com/worldtour/
On my paternal side, the highest level ancestors I have found are: Jerome Duda (b. 1872 in Germany); John D Blakeney (b. 1815 Maryland); Peter Cornwell (b. 1763); and George Rennoe (b. 1765).
On my maternal side, the highest level ancestors I have found are: Robert Erwin Robinson (b. 1810 in South Carolina); Peter Hair (b. 1726 in Germany); Mary Delilah Wood (b. 1793 in South Carolina); James Cone; Walter Sessions; Thomas Richerson (b. 1852); William Randon Hollinger (b. 1783);
I would be thrilled to hear from any living people (probably thrilled but scared to hear from dead ones) that may be related to me, no matter how distant!
