Bio

I am a 4th generation Californian interested in learning about, preserving, and sharing the history/genealogy of my Turner ancestors.

My paternal ancestors are:
TURNER:(California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, Florida)
AHLMEN and MELIN: (Sweden, California)
PETTERSSON: (Sweden)
WADSWORTH: (California, Ohio, Connecticut, Illinois)
BURROWS: (California, New York)
APPLETON: (Pennsylvania, Massachusetts)
HOBART: (Massachusetts)

My maternal ancestors are:
BAKER: (California, Colorado, Idaho, Nebraska, New Mexico, Virginia, Washington)
STAMOS - changed from Stamoulis or Stamoules: (California, and Greece)

I am grateful to my grandmothers and my great aunt who saved so many wonderful old family photos and documents to share and pass on through our family as new branches are added. Several other ancestors on my Turner and Wadsworth side, especially Frances Ellis Turner, Caroline Burrows Wadsworth, and Archibald Clark Wadsworth kept well documented records of our family history going back to the American Revolution and earlier. I wish I had more old photos of my ancestors so I could see what they looked like, and also wish I had asked more questions when my grandparents were alive!
