Have been interested in family history for a few years but have only this year really started to dig deeper and find out more about my family. I think you get to an age and realise all the missed opportunities I had to find out more when my grandparents were alive. Want to have a record for my kids to look back on when they reach my age and wonder what kind of people they were related to years ago.
Love finding professions that tie in with my hobby (photography) knowing Im one in a long line of photographers now just to become as good as them. Yet to find a cake maker another hobby but who knows whats around the next corner. Thats the fun.
Also helps people to live on after death and not be forgotten always a plus in my eyes.
