I began researching my maternal genealogy 2 years ago and realized how valuable others were to the process when I couldn't get to places. Volunteers made my search so much easier and I truly wanted to give back so I decided to volunteer with FindAGrave.
Now that my children are grown with lives of their own I finally have time to do the things I love and this is one of them. In addition, I live in such a beautiful part of the country that this is a great excuse to go exploring! :) I hope that the families I find for others will be treasured for a long time.

Update:Because of family circumstances, I am now raising my infant grandson. Please pardon any slowness on my updates. I don't get on the computer much anymore! :) Thanks.
