My name is Christopher Harris "Kit" Williams V. I live in Nashville TN and have been seriously interested in genealogy since retiring in mid 2000's. I was blessed with a family bible with birth-marriage entries dating back to the late 1700's. I have made the transcription of that, including photos of the entries on my website. That was my paternal-paternal line. Then, joining Ancestry.com and other public websites I have "attacked" my paternal-maternal line, my maternal line, my wife's paternal and maternal lines. The results of this work is all on my website. And, I have updated many entries on Ancestry and a few on FindAGrave.

I went to college at the University of Virginia and to graduate school at George Washington University in DC. I served as a Supply Corps officer in the Navy 1967-1971 and stayed in the reserves for many years afterwards. I was an officer at a bank in Atlanta GA, in management with an ATM manufacturer in Dallas TX, served as a marketing manager for the Italian company Olivetti, worked for 30 years for a credit card processor in Nashville and worked as a private consultant before retiring here in Music City.
