Bio

I'm a 'newbie' to genealogical research and wishing I'd listened more closely to my elders' family stories.

Researching ancestry of PACKETT and its branches back to our ancestor's arrival in the James Town Settlement (aka, Jamestown Colony) in 1609-1610, and back further into the British Isles and continental Europe.

Researching TYRELL/TYRRELL back from Margaret Tyrell, wife of Randolph Cramer Packett of Westmoreland and Richmond counties in Virginia. He appears in various Ancestry.com trees with middle names of Cramer, Crummer, Crumber, Comber, and others. Apparently, several of his life records have had these middle names.
