I enjoy Genealogy research and I like to learn about my ancestors. I became interested when my nephews were asking about their family for a project in school. I made a decision to learn all I could to pass down to them the family history for the generations to come. I remember I had to do such a project for a class at school and getting an "F" because no one could tell me what I needed to know. I was not in it for all the "Proofs" that seem to be important to some, but more as a means of educating the younger generation about their family and what it means to me. Of course, I would like to have as much information as I can find to give them. I really like Find a Grave because they give me access to places I cannot go and help in locating family burial places. I have also found other information from their contributors and other family members where they have posted information about their relatives and the links to other family as well. Maybe some day I can become a regular contributor and help others find their relatives as well.
