Find a Grave ID

Bio

Ever since I was a child I have had a fascination with old/ historic cemeteries.
A few years ago I was in the car with my boyfriend and his mother. She started to talk about this website where you can look up someone's grave site. I pulled my phone out immediately look up my Grandfather on my Father's side. Who I never met he passed away 6 years before I was born. The headstone was in fact his headstone. I remember my Father taking me there once as a young child. I left a flower stating .You're the Grandfather I never knew . A few years go by. I get an email from a distant relative doing genealogy researching my Grandfather family. I was able to help him with the information he needed. But it also started my interest in doing my own genealogy. I have learned that find a grave can be a big help. Sometimes the information is correct other times it not but it can provide a helpful hint/be a wonderful tool to get information.
