I have been researching family on and off for the last 7 years. When I began, I barely knew anything more than the names of my maternal grandparents. Through my great grandmother Barton, I have found ties to the House of Stewart and to Princess Diana, who we share the same 10th great grandmother - Alice Freeman who immigrated here to USA.
So far, I found my POTUS ties to George Washington via his mother.
