I am looking right now for my own great uncle "Babe" Harold M. Williams and I know that he died at sea and made it through the Bataan Death March then boarded a Hellship as the Arisan Maru was sunk by friendly fire. His memorial is at the Manilla American Cemetary and a Memorial Stone in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. It is very sad to have read all of the suffering that WWII Veterans went through in the South Pacific as well as France and opposite side of the world. It is so important that our Veterans that fought for our Freedom be given a proper burial and the correct information given to their families so this may go to their descendants who remember the stories that were told.
