Bio

I am a history buff with degrees from University of Michigan and a Certificate of Museum Studies from Harvard University in Cambridge, MA. While at Harvard I worked at the Paul Revere House. The best part of the job turned out to be connected to the uniforms we had to wear at the Paul Revere House––tourists sometimes called them our "Washington Revolutionary War Get-ups." (But that's another story.)

More recently, I have become interested in Michigan history, specifically, that which involves the Native Americans and French-English beginning in the 1600s. It involves the areas of Sault St. Marie, Cheboygan, Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island, Cross Village and Little Traverse Bay.

While doing my research, I hope to create and contribute Find-A-Grave Memorials. I like the fact that Find-A-Grave not only honors our ancestors, but is a good resource to make history personal for our children. It is enjoyable to work with them and teaching them to connect the dots between their own family members and events from the past.
