Bio

Almost life-long resident of Ocean County, NJ.

Growing up I'd always had very little knowledge of anyone beyond my grandparents. Out of complete curiosity I started on my family history with Ancestry.com around the beginning of 2016. Eventually found that my grandma Ruth had recently started keeping family tree records of her own, which allowed me to expand my tree enough that Ancestry said "hey, this lady in Texas has the same people you've got" and I was able to make contact with my dad's previously unknown second cousin, who happens to be a serious genealogist. Her tree includes our direct ancestors all the way back to Robert the Bruce (my 23x great grandpa).

I wouldn't call my research serious but I do revisit from time to time to see what new gems I can dig up. Also looking to fulfill some photo requests in my area in the near future, I owe it to the universe.

Happy to transfer my memorials to more appropriate managers upon request.
