I live in the Western North Carolina mountains and was born in Surry County, NC. I was raised in these mountains and love calling them home. My two beautiful daughters, Kayla and Ashley, are grown now and are doing life wonderfully. I am retired.

I began FindAGrave when my father passed away but just recently got into it more heavily after my mother passed on June 12, 2020. Family ancestry has become really important to me and I am currently working on my father's family tree, my mother's, and my husband's. I feel that it is important for those who have passed on to have a memorial page. I especially enjoy making those connections between pages for spouses, children, siblings, parents, etc.
