Northwest Suburban Genealogy Society(NWSGS) formerly Northwest Suburban Council of Genealogists(NWSCG). NWSCG was established in 1977. NWSGS became the new name in 2014.

As a society we are interestedin promoting the study of genealogy and history, conducting programs and workshops, encouraging the preservation of private and public records and assisting members in the study of family history.
