I am a first generation Oregonian, but am descended from families that arrived on the shores of North America beginning in the late 1600's through the mid-19th century. I am always trying to find out more about my family.

My father's family (Paxton), comes from West Virginia. I am one of the countless descendants of Abner Jehu Paxton.

My mother's family (Andrews), comes from New York, mainly Manhattan, but also Gloversville. I am one of the countless descendants of Haym Salomon.
