I live in the Richmond, VA / Henrico, VA area. Can make trips to the Library of Virginia if you are looking for a copy of records stored there.

Whenever possible, I prefer to add as much info on the memorial as is available. This ensures that search engines on Google, Ancestry, etc are more likely to find the memorial.

Sometimes public records are wrong. Sometimes family records are wrong. Whenever possible, I try to cite my sources. This may include adding photos of public records documents such as death certificates. While I am grateful for the database-hosting that FamilySearch and other paid sites do, I think that everyone should have the right to their family history, even if they can't afford to pay for it.
