One common thread all these years has been to validate the online records by obtaining valid sources that prove the information. Since many people, including myself, use Find-a-Grave memorials as a key source to validate their family information, I set out on a quest in 2021, to go through every one of my ancestors memorials and ensure they all have correct data. This has greatly assisted me in finding lost and disconnected spouses, children, siblings, parents, etc., and then allowed me to sponsor and connect them all, either by editing recommendations or by transfer requests. It has been an amazing adventure in discovering my ancestors and in assisting my other family members to connect as well. It has also led to incredible trips to their homelands and grave sites.
